Thiscommandspecifiesthe nextprintstart positionin arelativepositionwith respecttothe current position.
Thenextprintstartpositionwillbeatapointof [(nL+nH×256)×basiccalculationpitch] inchesawayfromthe
currentposition.
[Caution] [Thespecificationwhich is common to themodel]
Specificationof aposition outside the print area isignored.
Ifanewpositionisspecifiedtotherightofthecurrentpositioninthedirectionofprinting,itshouldbe specified
as positive (+). If itis tothe left,it should be as negative().
A negative value is the complement of65536. For example, tomove the positionbyN pitches tothe left,
specifyit as:nL +nHx 256= 65536 N
Fractions resulting from calculation are corrected with the minimum pitch of the mechanism, and the
remainderisomitted.
InSTANDARD MODE, thiscommanduses the horizontal basic calculation pitch(x).
InPAGE MODE, thiscommandacts differentlydepending on thestart point:
(1)Ifthestart pointspecifiedbyESC Tistopleftorbottomright, thecommand specifiesthe relativeposition
inthe directionperpendiculartothe paper feed (Thecharactersside-to-sidedirection), usingthe
horizontal basic calculation pitch(x).
(2) If thestart point istopright orbottom left, thecommandspecifiesthe relative position inthe paperfeed
direction (Thecharactersside-to-side direction),usingthe verticalbasic calculation pitch(y).
