3. Plug the connector of the new fan into the Soft Start Board. Refer to "Figure 4-117 Soft Start
Fan Connector".
• J5 on the Closed-Top Soft Start
• J3 on the Open-Top Soft Start

4. Install the top covers. Refer to "4.2 Compressor Covers" on page 56.
5. Return the compressor to normal operation.

4.16 SCR DC Bus Bar - TTS300/TGS230
The SCR DC Bus Bars pass the DC voltage from the output of the SCRs to the DC Capacitor Bus Bar
Assembly. This procedure does not show the removal of the Soft Start since it is not required. However,
if extra room is desired, the Soft Start can be removed to provide better access to the fasteners that
secure the SCR DC Bus Bars to the DC Capacitor Bus Bar Assembly.
