Dynamic emergency brake
If the vehicle service brake system has any fault
or in the abnormal or emergency situation, pull
up and hold the switch to apply the parking
brake so as to stop the vehicle. Release the
switch to release the parking brake.
● During driving, do not apply the parking
brake except for emergency. Otherwise, it
may cause damage to the vehicle brake
system or danger to driving safety.
● If the parking brake warning lamp is still
on with EPB released, please go to the
authorized dealer for system inspection
immediately.
● Please do not drive the vehicle with EPB
applied. Otherwise, it may result in
excessive wear of brake pads.
● When parking or leaving the vehicle,
confirm that the parking brake is applied
and that the transmission is set to “P”
(Parking) position.
● Others except the driver are not allowed
to touch the EPB switch. If the EPB is
released unexpectedly, it may cause
serious consequences.
● When you give the key to other people,
please be sure that you tell them how to
use the EPB.
● To prevent the vehicle from moving
accidentally, apply the parking brake after
parking, and set the shift lever to “P”.
● The parking brake should not be applied
when the vehicle is running, as it only
brakes the rear wheels, which causes a
much longer braking distance and easily
leads to drift and dangerous accidents.
AUTO HOLD
The AUTO HOLD is a function that helps the
driver to automatically realize the temporary
parking brake during the driving process of the
vehicle, so that the driver does not need to
depress the brake pedal for a long time after the
vehicle stops. After the brake pedal is released,
the system can continue to maintain the braking,
giving the driver enough time to depress the
accelerator pedal for a more comfortable start
and less risk of sliding on slopes.
