Adjustment before driving
Preparation before driving
Power window
The 4 doors of this vehicle are all equipped with
power windows that allow express-up & down*
and anti-pinch function*.
The power window switch works only when the
ENGINE START/STOP button is set to “ON”
position.
● Before closing the power window, check
that all occupants do not extend any body
part out of the window.
● Never leave children or adults to be
attended alone in the vehicle. They may
trigger the switch to close the window
unintentionally, causing suffocation or
even death.
● If an occupant stays in the vehicle, even
in an open area, the window must be kept
open after the engine is shut down.
● The automatic anti-pinch function does
not work when the window is about to
close fully, therefore check that all
occupants do not extent any body part out
of the window, so as to avoid pinch.
Power window master switch
The power window master switch on the driver’s
door armrest can control all windows and
deactivate the passenger’s window regulator
switches.
① Left front
② Right front
③ Left rear
④ Right rear
⑤ Switch for deactivating front and rear
passenger’s window regulator switches
● Automatic mode (express-up & down*):
Press or pull the switches ① ~④ to the limit
with slight force. Then the windows will lower
or lift fully automatically even if the switches
are released. During automatic lowering or
lifting of the windows, pressing or pulling the
switches again can stop the windows.
● Manual mode: keep pressing or pulling the
switch ①~④ gently (not beyond the limit) to
lower or lift the window, and release the
switch to stop the window.
● Press the switch ⑤ to deactivate the
window regulator switches on the
passenger’s door armrests; press the switch
again to activate the window regulator
switches.
When a child is in the vehicle, it is suggested
that the driver deactivate the passenger's
window regulator switches to prevent the
child from operating the switches.
