General description
The IMMO system will not allow the engine to
start when unregistered keys are used.
However, the engine may also fail to start with a
registered key when:
● another key is in use.
● a highway automatic charging equipment
(e.g. ETC) is in use.
● other devices that can transmit similar signals
are in use. In this case, start the engine in
accordance with the following steps:
● Clear conditions that may influence the keys.
● Set the ENGINE START/STOP button to
“ON” position for about 5 s.
● Set the ENGINE START/STOP button to
“OFF” position, and wait about 10s.
● Start the engine.
● Repeat the above steps until all the possible
interference factors are eliminated.
If the engine can be started successfully through
the above steps, it is recommended to place the
registered keys far away from the other devices
to prevent interference.
CAUTION
● Do not change the transmitting frequency,
or increase the transmitting power
(including installing a RF power amplifier),
or connect an exterior antenna or use
other transmitting antennas without
permission.
● The use of smart key should not cause
harmful interference to all the legal radio
communication services. In case of
interference, stop using the key
immediately and take measures to
eliminate the interference prior to
continuous use.
Body anti-theft function
Function activation
If the end of the interior central locking system
switch is pressed and held for more than
5s, the body anti-theft function will be enabled
and the hazard warning lamp will flash once.
When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in
“OFF” position, the indicator lamp on the hazard
warning lamp switch flashes. This indicates that
the IMMO system installed in the vehicle is
working properly.
Function deactivation
When the body anti-theft function is enabled, if
the end of the interior central locking system
switch is pressed and held for more than
5s, the body anti-theft function will be disabled
and the hazard warning lamp will flash twice.
Triggering/disabling alarm
After remote door locking, if the door is open
through the inside handle or mechanical key, the
anti-theft alarm will be triggered and the hazard
warning lamp will flash for about 30s.
Press the unlocking button on the key to
disable the alarm.
