Opening/closing fuel filler flap
The fuel filler flap is located on the right of the
vehicle. Open the driver's door, pull outward
the fuel filler flap release handle at the lower
left of the instrument panel to unlock the fuel
filler flap.
Press the fuel filler flap until it is completely
closed and locked.
WARNING
Before refueling, set the ENGINE
START/STOP button to “OFF” position to
shut down the engine.
During refueling, pay attention to
prohibiting smoking, open flames, kindling
and do not use mobile phones.
During self-service refueling, strictly abide
by the applicable safety regulations. The
fuel filling gun should be fully inserted into
the fuel filler before being turned on, so as
not to cause fuel spill.
When the fuel filling gun stops
automatically for the first time after normal
filling, do not continue to force filling;
otherwise, the fuel may overflow, causing
a danger of fire.
Precautions for self-service refueling
CAUTION
Stop the vehicle with the left side close to
the self-service refueling machine marked
with the fuel grade suitable for the vehicle,
and shut down the engine.
Smoking and using mobile phones are
strictly prohibited at fuel stations.
Before refueling, be sure to touch the
hand-shaped mark at the lower part of the
refueling machine for electrostatic
discharge.
The fuel filling gun should be extended
into the filling port as far as possible to
reduce the fuel mist volatilized during
refueling.
Do not enter the vehicle during refueling
to prevent recurrence of static electricity.
After refueling, please wait for a moment
until there is no remaining fuel before
removing the fuel filling gun to prevent
fuel spill.
Put back the fuel filling gun and retrieve
the fuel card.
Close the fuel filler cap and the fuel filler
flap properly.
