Inspection before driving
● Check and that the turn signal lamps, brake
lamps, reversing lamps, fog lamps, etc. work
normal.
● Visually check the tires for damage or
impurities and for proper tire pressure
according to the routine maintenance
procedures in the “Maintenance” section.
● Check that the level of engine oil and other
fluids is within the normal range according to
the routine inspection method specified in the
“Maintenance” section.
● Make sure all windows, rearview mirrors and
lamps are clean.
Smart key*
Composition of smart Key
① Smart key
② Mechanical key
Each vehicle is provided with 2 smart keys and 2
mechanical keys. Only the smart key matched
with the vehicle can be used to unlock the doors
and start the engine.
Functions of smart key*
The smart key functions as follows:
● Passive keyless entry: carry the smart key
and unlock/lock the door by using the PKE
function; press the request switch in the
middle of the lower edge of the trunk lid to
unlock the trunk lid; step on the AR projection
to open/close the trunk lid*;
● Remote control: remotely unlock/lock the
doors, unlock the trunk lid, remotely start/shut
down the engine*, remote automatic parking
assist*;
● Mechanical key: unlock/lock the doors;
● Engine start/shutdown: start the engine
with the ENGINE START/STOP button;
● Automatic convenient opening and closing of
windows and sunroof*.
