Installing towing eye:
1. Take out the wheel removal & refitting
wrench* and the removable towing eye from the
foam pad in the trunk.
2. Screw the towing eye completely into the
mounting hole of the towing eye clockwise by
hand.
3. Use the wheel removal & refitting wrench* or
other tools to tighten the towing eye into position.
Removing towing eye:
1. Counterclockwise loosen the towing eye to
remove it.
2. Install the mounting hole cover to the bumper
and press it into place.
3. Place the towing eye in the kit of driver's tools.
Towing trapped vehicle
The towing eye should be used when a tire of
the vehicle is trapped in sandy, snowy or muddy
road and the vehicle cannot run out of the road.
● Only the towing eye in the vehicle can be
used. Do not tie the towing device to other
parts of the vehicle body, otherwise, it may
damage the body.
● When the vehicle is towed, the towing eye
will be subjected to a large force. Always pull
the vehicle in a straight line but not in an
angle with the towing eye.
● During towing, nobody is allowed to stay
around the traction line.
● Never allow the wheels to slide and idle at
high speed when they are stuck in sandy
or muddy road; otherwise, the tire may
burst to cause, resulting in accidents, or
overheating or damage of other vehicle
parts.
The towing eye is only used for pulling out
this vehicle and should not be used to tow
other vehicles.
