Preparation before driving
Seat belts
Fastening seat belts
Seat belt should act on body skeleton. For this
purpose, the upper part of the seat belt should fit
closely with prothorax and cross over the
shoulder, and the lower part of the seat belt
should fit closely with the hip pelvis and exerts
no stress on abdomen.
● Before fastening the seat belt, adjust the
seat as appropriate.
● Tension the seat belt as much as
possible, and if the seat belt is under-
tensioned, its protection effect on
passengers will be greatly reduced.
Front seat belts
The front seat belts are emergency locking seat
belts with load limiter and, for some models, pre-
tensioner function. The driver's seat belt
reminder is provided. Some models may also be
equipped with the seat belt reminder for front
passenger’s seat.
Locking seat belt
Pull out the seat belt from the retractor gradually,
insert the latch plate into the buckle until a “click”
is heard, and pull the seat belt back to check if it
is reliably locked.
