Windshield wiper & washer
The windshield wiper and washer can operate
only when the ENGINE START/STOP button is
in “ON” position.
CAUTION
● If the windshield wiper cannot operate
due to snow or ice, do not turn on the
wiper at this time. Turn on the windshield
defogger to heat the windshield and
remove the snow or ice on and around
the wiper arm before turning on the wiper.
● After cleaning the vehicle in the automatic
vehicle washer, if there are stains on the
windshield wiped by the windshield wiper,
it may be wax or other residue. After
cleaning the vehicle in the automatic
vehicle washer, clean the windshield with
windshield washer fluid.
● Do not operate the windshield wiper when
the windshield is dry, as wiping without
water will damage the wiper blade. In
addition, dirt on the windshield may
scratch the windshield which should be
sprayed with wat r before wiping.

Note:The combination switch without automatic
wiping function has INT position but no AUTO
position.
When the combination switch is in the position,
the windshield wiper and washer will not operate.
For models without automatic wiper: When the
combination switch is turned upward parallel to the
steering wheel plane to the position, the
windshield wiper will operate intermittently. If the
adjusting lever ① is moved upward, the intermittent
wiping interval will be shortened, and if moved
downward, the intermittent wiping interval will be
increased.
For models with automatic wiper: The windshield wiper
works automatically depending on the rain amount with
the switch turned upward parallel to the steering wheel
plane to the position. If the adjusting lever ① is
moved upward, the automatic wiping sensitivity will be
increased, and if moved downward, the automatic
wiping sensitivity will be decreased.
When the combination switch is turned upward parallel
to the steering wheel plane to the position, the
windshield wiper will operate at low speed.
When the combination switch is turned upward parallel
to the steering wheel plane to the position, the
windshield wiper will operate at high speed.
When the combination switch is in position, if the
combination switch is turned downward parallel to the
steering wheel plane to the position, the
windshield wiper will operate for one cycle and then
automatically return to the original position.
