Common sense and skills of driving
Efficient use of the vehicle
1. Perform maintenance on the vehicle in time to
keep the vehicle in good operating conditions.
Dirty air cleaners, oil, oil filters, spark plugs, etc.
will reduce engine performance and waste fuel.
For extending service lives of all parts and
reducing operating costs, regular maintenance is
required. If the vehicle often runs under harsh
conditions, be sure to shorten the mileage and
cycle of maintenance interval;
2. Maintain correct tire pressure. Insufficient tire
pressure will lead to abnormal tire wear and
increased fuel consumption;
3. Ensure correct wheel alignment. Otherwise,
tires will wear out quickly, and engine load will
increase, causing fuel to be wasted;
4. Do not place unnecessary items in the
vehicle. Excessive loads will increase the engine
load, resulting in increased fuel consumption;
5. Accelerate the vehicle slowly and steadily,
and avoid rapid starting;
6. Avoid driving in areas with heavy traffic or
traffic jams to prevent the vehicle from
continuous acceleration and braking, which may
cause fuel to be wasted;
7. Avoid unnecessary parking and braking, and
keep driving at a stable speed. Observing traffic
lights during driving can minimize stops. Or, try
to drive on roads without traffic lights. Keep a
safe distance from other vehicles during driving
to avoid emergency braking, which will also
reduce brake wear;
8. Do not place a foot on the brake pedal, for
fear of premature wear and overheating of brake
pads and fuel waste;
9. Be sure to drive at a low speed in lateral
gusts for easy control of the vehicle;
10. During driving, ensure correct driving tracks
and prevent sharp objects or curbs from
scraping sides of tires. Otherwise, accidents
such as tire burst may occur;
11. Avoid collision with curbs during driving.
Reduce the vehicle speed when driving on
uneven roads;
12. Avoid the chassis being stained with dirt to
prevent increase in the vehicle's weight and
prevent corrosion;
13. Brakes may be wetted during vehicle
washing or wading through deep water. Please
drive at a low speed after startup. With driving
safety ensured, lightly step on the brake pedal
several times to dry brakes quickly. Drive the
vehicle carefully. If brakes still do not work
safely, stop the vehicle with driving safety
ensured and contact an authorized dealer.
● Before driving, make sure that the parking
brake has been released.
● Do not place a foot on the brake pedal
during driving. Otherwise, the brake pedal
may be unconsciously depressed,
causing overheating of brake pads,
unnecessary wear and fuel waste.
● When driving down a long, steep slope,
slow down the vehicle and set the shift
lever to a lower position. If brakes are
applied excessively, they will overheat
and fail to work properly.
● During driving on a slippery road, be
careful about acceleration,
upshifting/downshifting or braking.
Sudden acceleration or engine braking
may cause the vehicle to slip.
● Avoid waterlogged roads during driving,
for fear of wetting brakes.
