Function limitations
The FCTA function may be affected and have
false/neglected alarms under the following
conditions:
● The front bumper is slightly covered with mud
or ice and snow, or blocked by other objects;
● During driving, the distance from isolation
strips and flower beds is very small;
● There are a large number of metal objects in
the surrounding environment (such as plant,
container port, building area and
underground parking lot).
● The vehicle travels slowly on congested
roads;
● The target vehicle crosses quickly;
● The target (motorcycle, electric vehicle,
bicycle, pedestrian, etc.) is small.
● Harsh environments such as rain and snow.
Function failure
When the FCTA function fails (for example,
faulty front corner radar sensor), the upper left
corner of the omni-directional early warning
assist indicator lamp lights up in orange ( ,
or ). In this case, contact the authorized
dealer for inspection.
LCW*
The LCW function monitors the vehicles
approaching behind in blind spot (shaded area in
the figure) through two millimeter wave radar
sensors located at both ends of the inner side of
the rear bumper, and alerts the driver via the
indicator lamp on the corresponding exterior
rearview mirror and the instrument buzzer.
Be careful not to cover the millimeter wave
radar sensors, otherwise any of them will not
work and the system may not work properly.
LCW cannot monitor the following types of
vehicles or objects:
● Scooters, bicycles, pedestrians, etc.
● Vehicles traveling in the opposite
direction.
● Guardrails, walls, traffic signs, parked
vehicles and similar stationary objects.
●Vehicles behind in the same lane.
● The LCW function is used to remind the
driver to pay attention to the vehicles
behind on both sides when the vehicle is
running, but it must not replace the
normal use of the interior and exterior
rearview mirrors.
● It is the driver's responsibility to observe
the traffic conditions and to judge the
distance, speed and direction of other
vehicles to decide whether to change
lanes.
● LCW cannot take place of the driver's
alertness and responsibility. Careful
driving is still necessary.
