Lamps
Clean the front and rear headlamps regularly.
Check that the brake lamps, turn signal lamps,
headlamps and other lighting equipment function
normally and are fastened securely. And check
that the front headlamps are at the correct
illumination height.
Tires
Before long-distance driving, measure the tire
pressure with a pressure gauge. If necessary,
adjust the pressure of all tires, including the
spare wheel, to the specified pressure. Carefully
check the tires for cuts, bulges, cracks,
excessive wear or other damage.
Windshield
Clean the windshield in a timely manner. Check
the windshields for cracks or other damage at
least every half year.
A/C air inlet
Regularly remove leaves, petals, pollens and
other debris from the vent trim panel. Remove
snow from the vent trim panel in time, especially
in rainy and snowy days, to ensure the A/C inlet
and the drip channel are clear. Otherwise, the
drip channel outlet may be clogged, have
consequence on the A/C and even causing the
A/C system to malfunction.
If the vent trim panel is not cleaned for a long
time, the leaves, petals, pollen and other debris
on it may become moldy, which then produces
odor in the passenger compartment.
Sunroof
The sunroof rails and grooves may be cleaned
regularly with a rag to prevent debris from
blocking the sunroof drain holes so as to avoid
water entering the vehicle.
Interior routine maintenance items
Brake pedal
Check whether the brake pedal works normally,
and make sure that there is an appropriate
clearance underneath when it is depressed
completely. Make sure that the floor mat is
arranged away from the pedal.
Accelerator pedal
Check whether the accelerator pedal operates
normally, and make sure that it is free from
blocking or uneven application of force. Make
sure that there is proper clearance between the
accelerator pedal and the floor when it is
pressed to the end. Make sure that the floor mat
is arranged away from the pedal.
Steering wheel
Check the steering wheel for excessive free
travel, hard steering or other abnormal noise.
Seat belts
Check whether all parts of the seat belt system
(such as buckle, latch plate and retractor) work
normally and smoothly, and are installed
securely. Check whether the seat belt is
cracked, scratched, worn or damaged.
