● Some fuses shall be replaced by an
authorized dealer.
● Description of the fuses mentioned above
is not absolutely suitable for all vehicle
models. If you are required to know the
purpose of the fuses, please check them
on an actual vehicle. The fuses may
slightly vary from vehicle to vehicle.
● Some electrical consumers may be
equipped with multiple fuses each, or
multiple electrical consumers may share a
single fuse.
Inspecting and replacing fuse
If an electrical consumer in the vehicle stops
working, first check whether it is caused by a
damaged fuse. It is possible to find out which
fuse or fuses control the electrical consumer
according to the description of fuse.
If it is impossible to determine whether the fault
is caused by a damaged fuse, replace all
damaged fuses and check whether the electrical
consumer works properly. Contact an authorized
dealer for inspection if the fault persists.
● Please never use the fuse with rating
higher or lower than the value specified
on the fuse box; otherwise, the electrical
system may be damaged or a fire may
occur.
● If you replace the blown fuse with a spare
fuse with a lower amp, and the fault is
removed, replace it with a fuse of the
correct rating as soon as possible.
Remove the fuse corresponding to the
inoperative electrical consumer, and check
whether the wire in the fuse is blown. If it has
been blown (the fuse as arrowed has broken),
replace it with a replacement fuse of the same or
lower rating.
If the replacement fuse of the same rating has
been blown within a short time, a serious
electrical fault may occur to the vehicle. In this
case, do not use the inoperative electrical
consumer, leave the blown fuse in the fuse box,
and contact an authorized dealer for inspection.
If the vehicle cannot be move because there
is no available backup fuse, a fuse (such as
the fuse of the cigarette lighter or the radio)
of the same or lower rating from another
circuit may be removed for use, provided that
the electrical consumer is not in use and will
not interfere with driving.
