LKA*
The LKA system includes lane departure
warning (LDW) and lane keeping assist (LKA).
The system uses a camera located on the upper
edge of the windshield to detect road information
such as lane markings/curbs/shoulders, and
calculates the position of the vehicle in the lane.
When the vehicle unintentionally deviates from
the lane, the LDW will remind the driver to
correct the driving trajectory in visual and audible
manner, the LKA will assist the driver to correct
the driving trajectory by applying steering wheel
torque to keep the vehicle in the ego lane,
● The LKA is only a driver assistance tool
and cannot replace the driver’s careful
driving and judgment. The driver must
maintain control of the vehicle at all times
and assumes full responsibility for the
vehicle.
● In case of influence by the environment
(such as heavy rain, heavy fog, heavy
snow, backlighting, etc. that affect the
performance of the camera) or due to the
characteristics of the target, the
monitoring function of front camera will be
interfered and the performance will be
degraded.
● Do not change the position of the front
camera without authorization. Strong
vibration or slight impact will affect the
performance of the front camera. Please
clean the upper edge of the front
windshield regularly to keep the camera
clear.
● Do not block the field of view of the
camera during use of the vehicle. The dirt
on the front windshield within the field of
view may cause the system to fail.
● Do not tint or apply coatings that do not
meet the specifications on the front
windshield of the vehicle. Any additional
items that affect the field of view of the
system camera may affect the normal
operation of the system.
Lane departure warning (LDW)*
Function description
● If the LDW function is set on through MP5,
the LDW status indicator lamp (green) will
light up when the system is normal.
When the camera at the upper edge of the front
windshield detects that the vehicle is drifting out
of the ego lane, in case the function conditions
are met, the LDW will alert the driver with an
alarm, and the lane marking on the deviating
side will be highlighted in red on the instrument
panel, accompanied by an audible alarm.
