Cruise control *
The cruise control is a system that controls the
accelerator pedal by using an electronic program
to keep the vehicle running at a constant speed
automatically. When the cruise control function is
activated during long-distance driving on an
expressway, the driver can keep the vehicle
running at the set speed without depressing the
accelerator pedal, thus reducing the driving
fatigue and improving the driving comfort.
Cruise control conditions:
● The vehicle speed is 40~175km/h;
● The shift lever is in 2nd gear or above;
● There is no condition that deactivates the
cruise control (such as depressing the brake
pedal);
● The cruise control function must be activated;
● The brake pedal is depressed once before
activation.
If the ESC, EPB and AEB intervene in the cruise
control mode, the vehicle will automatically exit
the cruise control.
● During driving on congested roads, in
windy areas, on winding or steep roads,
or on slippery roads such as rainy, snowy
or icy roads, do not activate the cruise
control function, for fear of an accident
due to loss of control of the vehicle.
● The set cruising speed and distance to
the vehicle in front must be adapted to the
traffic conditions at that time. The cruise
control is only a driver assistance system
and should be used with caution.
● Do not use cruise control when driving in
no-road or non-road sections. This
function is only suitable for hard roads
paved on the road, otherwise it will cause
an accident.
● The vehicle speed should be set
according to the road, traffic and weather
conditions at that time, and should not be
too high; otherwise, it may cause an
accident.
● The cruise control should be disabled in
time after use.
