During downhill driving, the cruise control
cannot keep the vehicle at a constant speed,
and the vehicle accelerates according to its
own weight. In this case, please depress the
brake pedal or select a lower gear.
Reducing cruising speed
Reset to a lower speed by using one of the
following methods:
● Depress the brake pedal slightly. When the
vehicle reaches the desired speed, release
the brake pedal and press the lower part of
round switch ③.
● Press and hold the lower part of round switch
③, and when the vehicle reaches the desired
speed, release the switch.
● Press the lower part of round switch ③; each
time the switch is pressed, the cruising speed
reduces by 1km/h.
Increasing cruising speed
Reset to a higher speed by using one of the
following methods:
Depress the accelerator pedal. When the vehicle
reaches the desired speed, press the upper part
of round switch ③.
Press and hold the upper part of round switch
③, and when the vehicle reaches the desired
speed, release the switch.
Press the upper part of round switch ③; each
time the switch is pressed, the cruising speed
increases by 1km/h.
Overtaking or running up or down a steep
slope
When overtaking, depress the accelerator pedal
to increase the vehicle speed beyond cruising
speed (as usual). After the accelerator pedal is
released, the vehicle will return to the preset
speed.
The vehicle may not keep running at the set
speed during going up or down a steep slope. In
such cases, disable the cruise control.
Pausing cruise control
In the cruise control status, use one of the
following methods to pause the cruise control,
after which the cruise control is paused and a
white cruising icon with numbers is shown
at the lower part of the instrument cluster
display.
● Press the button ②.
● Depress the service brake pedal slightly.
Resetting cruise control
If the upper part of round switch ③ is pressed
under cruise control readiness, the cruise control
status can be re-entered, and the cruising speed
will return to the value saved before the cruise
control is paused.
Deactivating cruise control
In cruise control, cruise control pause, and
cruise control readiness, press the left part of
round switch ③ to exit the cruise control; in this
case, the cruise control icon at the bottom right
of the instrument cluster disappears.
At this time, to activate the cruise control again,
reset the cruise control.
