Correct riding posture of driver
Ridding with a correct posture can reduce driving
fatigue and ensure safe driving.
For the safety of drivers and passengers, drivers
should carry out the following operations before
driving:
1. Move the seat back and forth to a suitable
position so that the accelerator pedal and brake
pedal can be completely depressed when the
knee joint is slightly bent;
2. Adjust the seat back to a suitable angle so
that the driver's back can completely fit the seat
back;
3. Adjust the headrest to make its middle part
flush with the middle part of the driver's ears and
the back of the driver's head as close to the
headrest as possible;
4. Adjust the steering wheel to make the driver's
chest as distanced from the steering wheel as
possible. Ensure that the highest point of the
steering wheel can be held even when the elbow
joint is slightly bent;
5. Adjust rearview mirrors to appropriate
positions;
6. Fasten the seat belt correctly.
Correct riding posture of front passenger
For safe riding, the front passenger should
observe the following:
1. Adjust the seat to keep an enough distance
between the front passenger and the instrument
panel, so the airbag can provide most effective
protection when triggered.
2. Adjust the seat back to be nearly vertical so
that the front passenger's back fits the seat back;
3. Adjust the headrest to make its middle part
flush with the middle part of the front
passenger's ears and the back of the front
passenger's head as close to the headrest as
possible;
4. Fasten the seat belt correctly;
5. Place feet in the footwells in front of the front
passenger's seat.
Correct riding posture of rear passengers
For safe riding, rear passengers should observe
the following:
1. Adjust the headrests to make their middle
parts flush with middle parts of rear passengers'
ears and backs of rear passengers' heads as
close to the headrests as possible;
2. Keep correct riding postures and lean backs
against seat backs;
3. Place feet on the floor in the footwells in front
of rear seats;
4. Fasten the seat belt correctly;
5. For safe riding of kids, correct protective
measures must be taken in accordance with
relevant regulations.
