Preparation before driving
Child safety lock
Activating the child safety lock
Open the rear passenger’s door, and pull the
slide ① inwards to activate the child safety lock.
At this time, no matter the door is unlocked or
not, it cannot be opened from the inside. To
open the door, unlock it and then open it from
the outside.
Deactivating the child safety lock
Open the rear passenger’s door, and pull the
slide ① outwards to deactivate the child safety
lock.
● When there is a child passenger in the
vehicle, the driver should activate the
child safety lock and deactivate the
passenger’s window switches, so as to
avoid accidents due to accidental opening
of the rear doors or windows by the child.
● Never leave children or adults to be
attended alone in the vehicle. They may
trigger the switch or controller
accidentally, causing a serious accident.
Impact sensing door unlock
In case of collision during driving, the airbags will
deploy, the doors will automatically be unlocked,
and the hazard warning lamp may come on
automatically.
Automatic door relocking
With the doors locked, if no door (including the
trunk lid) is opened within 30 seconds after the
doors are unlocked, and the vehicle power
supply is not switched to a position other than
“OFF”, the doors will be locked again
automatically.
Even if the vehicle allows automatic door re-
locking, do not play with the smart key after
the vehicle is locked, and keep the vehicle
locked, so as to avoid unnecessary losses
due to accidental unlocking of the door.
Walk up unlock
If the walk up unlock is set through the MP5
system, the door will be automatically unlocked
in case the door is locked and the smart key is
1.5m (perpendicular to the trunk lid or the left
door handle) away from the vehicle.
Walk away lock
With the walk away lock is activated (set through
the MP5 system), the doors will be automatically
locked when the ENGINE START/STOP button
is in “OFF” position, the gear “P” is engaged, all
the doors are closed, and the smart key is
carried 1.5m away from the vehicle (vertical to
the trunk lid or in the direction of left door
handle).
