Preparation before driving
Driver’s seat
Electric adjustment*
The power seat is adjustable in six directions
(including longitudinal adjustment, vertical
adjustment and reclining), but only the
adjustment in one direction is allowed at a time.
For some models, the lumbar support* function
is also provided.
Seat longitudinal adjustment
Moving forward: Push the switch ① forward;
Moving backward: Push the switch ①
backward.
The longitudinal adjustment travel of seat is
about 240mm, with 200mm for forward
adjustment, and 40mm for backward adjustment.
After the seat is adjusted, shake the seat
forward and backward twice to ensure that
the seat is locked securely. If not properly
locked, the seat may move unexpectedly
during driving, resulting in loss of control of
the vehicle.
Seat vertical adjustment*
Ascending: Lift up the rear end of the switch
①;
Descending: Press down the rear end of the
switch ①.
Seat back reclining angle adjustment
Tilting forward: Move the upper end of the
switch ② forward;
Tilting backward: Move the upper end of switch
② backward.
The designed reclining angle of the seat back is
22°.
Lumbar support adjustment*
The seat lumbar support can be adjusted by
pressing the forward/backward/up/down buttons
in the ○
A
area.
● Never adjust the driver's seat when the vehicle is
running! Otherwise, the seat may move
unexpectedly and the driver may be unable to
control the vehicle or be distracted in this case,
causing serious accident thereafter.
● Do not adjust the seat to a position too close to
the instrument panel, as in the event of an
accident, the protection effect of seat belt and
SRS may be affected and serious injury may be
caused.
● Do not recline the seat back excessively,
otherwise, the seat belt and SRS may be unable
to play its roles as expected. For example, in
case of braking or an accident, the seat belt may
slide downward and injure your abdomen or
neck, increasing the risk of personal injury or
even death.
● Recline the seat back to a position almost
vertical to the floor.
● When moving the seat backward, make sure that
there are no objects under or after seat or in the
foot room after the seat, so as to prevent crush
injury to rear passengers or objects after the
seat.
● Keep the seating position as far as possible from
the instrument panel, provided the driving
requirements are met;
