Emergency door locking / unlocking
If the smart key battery has run out or the central
locking system is faulty, the door can be locked
by the door inside locking button.
If the child safety lock is activated when the
door is locked by the locking button, the rear
door will not be opened. The rear door can
be opened from the outside only after the
battery is restored and the vehicle is
unlocked.
Emergency door locking
Emergency locking of front doors: open the door,
push the door inside locking button outwards,
pull the door outside handle, and then close the
door; emergency locking of rear doors: push the
door locking button outwards, and then close the
door.
Emergency door unlocking
1. Unlock the driver’s door by the mechanical
key;
2. Pull the passenger’s door inside locking
button inwards to unlock the doors on the
corresponding side. Then pulling out the door
inside handle can open the corresponding door.
Interior central locking system switch
Unlocking: press it to unlock all the doors
Locking: press it to lock all the doors
If any door is closed improperly, it will not be
successfully locked by the interior central
locking system switch, which is indicated by a
locking sound, followed by an unlocking
sound. In that case, identify the cause and do
troubleshooting before locking the door
again.
Speed sensing door lock
Speed sensing door lock feature
When the speed sensing door lock feature is
activated and all the doors are closed properly,
the doors will be locked automatically after the
vehicle speed is higher than 10 km/h.
Activating the speed sensing door lock
feature
With the ENGINE START/STOP button in “ON”
position, press and hold the lock button on the
central locking system switch for more than 3
seconds, or turn on the settings of “Body setting”
– “Car lock lamp” – “Auto lock @ run” on the
MP5 display, so the instrument cluster displays
“Auto lock is enabled”, the hazard warning lamp
flashes once, and the Auto lock @ run is
enabled.
Deactivating the speed sensing door lock
feature
With the ENGINE START/STOP button in “ON”
position, press and hold the lock key on the
central locking system switch again for more
than 3 seconds, or turn on the settings of “Body
setting” – “Car lock lamp” – “Auto lock @ run”
on the MP5 display, so the instrument cluster
displays “Auto lock is enabled” for 3 seconds,
the hazard warning lamp flashes twice, and the
Auto lock @ run is disabled.
