Deflation detection system (DDS)
After the vehicle is started, the tire pressure
monitoring system automatically enters the
normal working mode. When the vehicle is
running, the indirect tire pressure monitoring
system indirectly monitors whether the tire
pressure is normal by using the wheel speed
signal and other signals received by ESC. After
the tire pressure information interface is entered,
you can view the tire pressure status of four
tires. If the tire pressure is normal, an “OK” mark
will be shown at the corresponding tire position.
When one tire pressure lower than 75% of the
standard tire pressure is detected, the
corresponding message (the corresponding
faulty tire flashes in yellow signal and a “!” mark
is shown at the corresponding defective tire
position) will be shown on the ECU display, and
the tire pressure fault warning lamp on the
instrument cluster will come on.
When one or more of the four wheels have low
tire pressure, the corresponding wheel on the
instrument cluster will flash in yellow signal, and
the tire pressure fault warning lamp on the
instrument cluster will come on.
When the tire pressure is initialized successfully,
the tire pressure fault warning lamp on the
instrument cluster will go out.
If the tire pressure fault warning lamp on
the instrument cluster still comes on after the
initialization, please go to the authorized dealer
for inspection.
● When the vehicle travels with tire chains,
the tire pressure monitoring system may
display incorrect tire pressure information.
● The DDS is not a tire pressure gauge and
cannot prevent tire deflation or burst. It is
mainly used to give an alarm after
monitoring a tire pressure lower than a set
value. This system cannot replace the
driver's responsibility, so careful
inspection is still necessary.
● Under certain conditions (such as driving
in cold areas or on winding roads), the tire
pressure fault warning lamp may incur a
response lag.
Initializing DDS
For any operation that affects the tire pressure
change, the tire pressure should be initialized via
the MP5. For example: tire pressure adjustment
or replacement of wheels, rims or tires.
(including but not limited to the above conditions)
● After the tire pressure is adjusted, the tire
pressure can be reset in the “CarCenter” -
“Body settings” - “Convenient” - “TPM
RESET” menu on the MP5 display.
● Before performing the tire pressure
monitoring system initialization, be sure to
adjust the air pressure of each wheel to
the specified value.
● Please reset the tire pressure when the
vehicle is stationary.
