Safety precautions
● Read this manual and the related materials
carefully before operating the system. The
figures herein are for reference only, and in
case of any difference, products in kind
prevail.
● Tear off the protective film on the screen
before operating the MP5 system.
● Do not operate the system during driving as
distraction may cause accidents. It is
recommended that you park the vehicle
safely before watching a video or operating
the system.
● Protect the system from water, moisture, and
sulfuric acid etc., so as to ensure its normal
operation.
● Do not use any hard object to rub or impact
the screen, to protect the screen effect.
● When the host panel and LCD are dirty,
clean them with soft cloth and neutral
cleanser. Cleaning with diluent such as
alcohol may cause damage to the panel or
make the characters disappear.
● Before vehicle maintenance, turn off the MP5
system and then cut off the main power
supply.
● Charging mobile phones via USB interface is
not recommended for the system, otherwise
the following problems may occur:
1. Due to different charging methods, USB
interface could support part of mobile phones
only;
2. The charging currents vary with mobile
phones, so the battery life may be shortened and
charging efficiency not desirable if non-special
charger is used;
3. The power consumption of mobile phones
varies, and standby time may be extended after
a non-special charger is used.
● Brands of USB flash drive supported by the
system and special note:
1. The system supports the USB flash drive of
such brands as Kingston, AIGO, SONY, HP,
SAMSUNG and Tsinghua Tongfang.
2. Special note: The diverse compression forms
of USB flash drive internal protocol, audio and
video files may cause operation failure of your
USB flash drive in this system, so we
recommend you to use the products supported
by the system in priority.
● Keep the system away from hazardous
materials.
● During driving, use the system as appropriate
so as not to effect driving.
● For complex road conditions, use the system
as appropriate so as not to affect its
performance.
● If the vehicle is parked in direct sunlight or
the cabin air temperature is high, cool the
vehicle before operating the system.
● When replacing the system fuse, always use
the fuse of the same (current) specification.
Do not use other fuse or wire for substitution,
or the system may get damaged seriously.
● The system is composed of precise
components, so do not remove any
component without authorization. If repair is
required, please go to the authorized dealer.
