1. Align the mounting holes on the spare wheel
with those on the brake disc, and align the spare
wheel with the wheel hub to install it onto the
wheel hub;
2. Attach all wheel fixing bolts, firstly hand
tighten all wheel bolts as much as possible, push
the wheel inward to check whether it is possible
to tighten the bolts more, and then pre-tighten
the bolts with the wheel removal & refitting
wrench to check that the wheel has been
completed installed into position;
3. Lower the vehicle slowly by operating the jack
and remove the jack;
4. Tighten the wheel fixing bolts clockwise with
the wheel removal & refitting wrench without
using any other tool such as a hammer or a
socket, and make sure the wrench is fully seated
on the bolts;
5. Diagonally and evenly tighten the wheel fixing
bolts in the order ① to ⑤ as shown. The
tightening torque of the bolts is 100Nm.
● The wheel bolts must be properly
tightened to the specified torque;
otherwise, the bolts may be loose when
the vehicle is moving, causing a traffic
accident.
● The spare wheel is only used in an
emergency. After replacement with the
spare wheel, drive the vehicle at a speed
not higher than 80 km/h to the nearest
authorized dealer for repair. After the
wheel for normal use is repaired,
immediately replace the spare wheel.
● Do not forget to take back the warning
triangle after replacement of wheel.
● The tightening torque of the wheel bolt is
specified by the vehicle manufacturer. If
the user replaces the wheel without a
special tool, the torque is for reference
only.
● The threads on the wheel fixing bolt and
the hub must be kept clean and free from
adherent matters such as grease.
● The torque cannot be confirmed while
tightening the wheel bolts with the wheel
removal & refitting wrench provided for
the vehicle, so control the speed properly
and avoid sudden acceleration and
emergency braking during driving.
● When the vehicle has traveled for 1000km
after replacement of wheel, please tighten
the wheel bolts again.
● After installing the spare wheel, check the
tire pressure and ensure that it is within
the specified range.
Storing damaged wheel and tools
1. Store the damaged wheel, the jack and tools
in the storage area under the trunk floor
properly, and then put the trunk floor back into
position;
2. Place the damaged wheel in the trunk;
3. Put away the warning triangle;
4. Close the trunk lid.
