Instructions for maintenance
As the distance driven increases, the parts of the
vehicle will gradually wear out and the technical
condition will deteriorate. It is required to perform
maintenance to the vehicle when it is in service
so as to ensure the vehicle performance is in
good condition and the vehicle may hold its
value when it is resold.
There are two types of maintenance: scheduled
maintenance and routine maintenance, which
includes daily vehicle washing, body beauty,
corrosion protection, recycling some waste
materials and environmental protection after
maintenance.
Scheduled maintenance should be performed by
an authorized dealer, while routine maintenance
is mainly performed by the driver.
All maintenance or inspection operations should
be performed according to the safety practices,
as incorrect operation may cause malfunction or
damage to the vehicle, or even an accident.
● Please perform scheduled maintenance
to your vehicle according to the List of
items for first and scheduled
maintenance. Failure to perform
scheduled maintenance on the vehicle in
a timely manner may degrade its
performance, cause damage to the
vehicle, and result in rejection to warranty
claims.
● Before routine maintenance, take
personal protection measures.
Before routine maintenance, ensure the
vehicle is in the following condition:
● Park the vehicle on a flat and safe road;
● Parking brake is applied
● Set the ENGINE START/STOP button to
OFF position;
● Wait for a while until the vehicle has
cooled down.
● Never allow any spark or flame to be
close to any part of fuel system and the
battery.
● Avoid direct skin contact with engine oil or
coolant.
● Remove foreign objects in the engine
compartment in a timely manner during
daily inspection or scheduled
maintenance. Do not leave any flammable
items such as the glove, rag, etc. or tools
in the engine compartment. The leftover
items may cause engine malfunction or
damage, or even cause a fire.
