Dual-mode drive and energy regeneration*
Dual-mode drive system working mode
HEV models are equipped with dual-mode drive
system, which can realize three drive modes: EV
driving, HEV driving, and engine driving. During
the driving process of the vehicle, the vehicle
can automatically switch among different drive
modes through the comprehensive judgment of
the system to achieve optimal power and
economy.
EV driving
When the battery is fully charged and the vehicle
speed is low, the vehicle will run in EV mode, the
engine will not work, and the traction battery will
provide power to the motor to drive the vehicle.
HEV driving
When the battery power is low, the vehicle will
run in HEV mode, mainly driven by the motor,
and the engine will assist in generating
electricity.
Engine driving
When the vehicle speed is high, the vehicle will
run in engine mode, mainly directly driven by the
engine. When the vehicle is accelerating, the
motor can be used for auxiliary drive.
Energy regeneration
This vehicle has an energy regeneration
function. During vehicle braking and coasting,
some energy will be regenerated.
● Tap “CarCenter” – “Vehicle condition” –
“Energy flow” – “Braking energy regeneration
intensity” in MP5 display in turn to set the
energy regeneration intensity.
● Please select the energy regeneration
intensity according to your driving habits.
Excessive energy regeneration will affect
the vehicle power output.
● On icy roads, for your safety, please
enable the low-speed coasting energy
regeneration function and drive the
vehicle carefully.
