Hill descent control (HDC)*
This function can limit the vehicle speed during
going downhill within the low speed range, so
that the vehicle speed does not exceed the
upper speed limit set by the driver.
When the HDC is turned on through “CarCenter”
“Body settings” – “Convenient HDC” in MP5
display, the HDC indicator lamp on the
instrument cluster will come on, indicating that
the function has been turned on.
When this function is turned on, if the vehicle
goes downhill, the driver can release the
accelerator or brake pedal, and the system will
automatically limit the vehicle speed to the
speed when the pedal is released. If the driver
steps on the brake or accelerator pedal in this
process, as long as the vehicle speed is still
within the working speed range of the system,
the vehicle speed after the pedal is released is
the target speed controlled by the HDC.
CAUTION
When the HDC works, the driver should
still pay close attention to the road
conditions and be ready to take over the
vehicle at any time to avoid danger.
The working speed range of the HDC is
6~35km/h, and the function will be
deactivated if this range is exceeded.
Active rollover protection (ARP)*
The active rollover protection (ARP) is an active
safety protection, which reduces the risk of
potential rollover when a vehicle steers quickly
or steadily.
WARNING
The active rollover protection (ARP)
enhances the safety in normal driving. But
the driver cannot therefore drive in a
dangerous way (such as sharp turn,
speeding) to avoid the danger.
