Reminder buzzer and text*
Lighting ON reminder buzzer
When the headlamp switch is in , or
position, and the ENGINE START/STOP
button is in “ACC” or “OFF” position, the buzzer
will sound if the driver’s door is open.
This is to remind the driver to always turn the
headlamp switch to position before
leaving the vehicle.
Door ajar reminder buzzer
If any door is ajar and the vehicle speed exceeds
7km/h, the door ajar reminder buzzer will sound
to remind you to close the door properly. When
the vehicle speed is less than 3km/h, the door
ajar buzzer will stop sounding.
Smart key reminder horn
The buzzer will sound if the following incorrect
operations occur:
● When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in
“OFF” position and the door is locked with the
request switch.
Upon hearing the horn sound, always inspect the
vehicle and smart key.
Driver's seat belt reminder buzzer
The driver's seat belt reminder buzzer will be
activated when the vehicle speed is no less than
10km/h. The instrument buzzer will sound for up
to 60s, and the instrument cluster display will
show “Driver's seat belt unfastened” for 3s. If the
driver's seat belt is fastened or the vehicle speed
is less than 8km/h, the buzzer will stop sounding.
Front passenger's seat belt reminder buzzer*
If the front passenger's seat is occupied with the
seat belt unfastened, this reminder buzzer will be
activated when the vehicle speed is no less than
10km/h. This buzzer will sound for up to 60s,
and the instrument cluster display will show
“Front passenger's seat belt unfastened” for 3s.
If the front passenger's seat belt is fastened or
the vehicle speed is less than 8km/h, the buzzer
will stop sounding.
To avoid a false reminder (warning), do not
place any heavy object in the front
passenger's seat in case no passenger sits in
it during driving.
EPB fault reminder buzzer
When the EPB switch is released with the
service brake pedal not depressed, the buzzer
will sound once to remind the you to depress the
service brake pedal before releasing the parking
brake.
AEB reminder *
When the AEB is faulty, works or is unavailable,
the instrument cluster will display “AEB fault”,
“FCW fault”, “AEB working”, “FCW working”
and “AEB unavailable” respectively.
When the AEB fails, please go to the authorized
dealer for inspection in time.
Driver's seat belt reminder
If the vehicle speed is no less than 10km/h and
the driver's seat belt is not fastened, the
instrument cluster display will show “Driver's seat
belt unfastened” for 3s. In this case, the driver
should fasten the seat belt.
