Hazard warning lamp and reflective vest
Hazard warning lamp
The hazard warning lamp button is on the switch
control panel in the center of the instrument
panel. In case of an emergency, turn on the
hazard warning lamp to remind other drivers and
passengers of this situation so as to avoid any
traffic accident.
When the hazard warning lamp button is
pressed, both turn signal lamps will flash
simultaneously, so do the left turn signal lamp
indicator lamp and right turn signal lamp
indicator lamp on the instrument cluster.
To turn off the hazard warning lamp, press the
hazard warning lamp button again.
The hazard warning lamp may work provided the
battery is running even if the ENGINE
START/STOP button is set to “OFF” position.
The hazard warning lamp should be turned on in
the following conditions:
1. The vehicle breaks down due to any technical
problem;
2. The vehicle is at the tail end of a traffic jam;
3. Emergencies;
4. The vehicle tows another vehicle or it is
towed.
● If not necessary, do not activate the
hazard warning lamp for a long time while
the engine is not started for the avoidance
of loss of electricity.
Automatic activation during emergency
braking
When the ABS is active and the vehicle speed is
greater than 60km/h, slam on the brake pedal to
apply emergency braking so that the vehicle
decelerates to a certain speed. In this case, the
hazard warning lamp may turn on automatically
and both turn signal lamps flash simultaneously.
When the vehicle continues running with the
brake pedal released, the hazard warning lamp
will go out.
NOTE: In the event of a vehicle collision, the
hazard warning lamp may turn on
automatically.
Reflective vest
The vehicle is equipped with a reflective vest,
which is folded and packed in a plastic bag.
Please keep the reflective vest in the glove box
for easy access.
When dealing with vehicle failures under low
visibility conditions such as nighttime, the driver
can take out the reflective vest from the glove
box and put it on to improve the notice on the
driver when getting off the vehicle.
