When the speed limit reminder by the camera is
being given, if the vehicle changes lanes or the
camera recognizes the Speed Limit Cancellation
sign, the ISLI function will terminate the speed
limit reminder early.
Overspeed alarm
When the vehicle speed displayed on the
instrument cluster is greater than the current
speed limit value + 5km/h, an overspeed alarm
will be given through a flashing speed limit sign
icon and a sound “ding”. When the vehicle speed
displayed on the instrument cluster is lower than
the speed limit or the driver continues driving
overspeed for more than a certain period of time,
the icon stops flashing.
Function limitations
For factors affecting the ISLI function, refer to
“Function limitations” in “Traffic sign recognition
(TSR)*” .
Intelligent speed limit control (ISLC)*
The ISLC function uses the camera at the upper
edge of the front windshield and the navigation
system to recognize speed limit signs. When the
vehicle passes the speed limit sign, the ISLI
function works and the recognized speed limit
sign is displayed at the designated position on
the cluster instrument. The speed limit sign will
disappear automatically after driving for a certain
distance. If the difference between the identified
speed limit and the current cruising speed set via
the instrument cluster exceeds -10km/h, the
ISLC will prompt the driver through the
instrument cluster to confirm whether to carry out
speed control by updating the ACC cruising
speed.
Function activation conditions
The ISLC can be used only when the following
conditions are met:
● The function is turned on and the mode is
selected;
● The vehicle speed is 30-150km/h;
● There are no system faults;
● The ACC is active.
Function setting
The function can be turned on/off through
“CarCenter” – “Driving assistance” – “TSR” –
“ISA” - “ISLC” in MP5 display.
Function status description
The ISLC can be turned on through MP5. The
ISLI button in MP5 will come on when the
system is free of fault. In case of a system fault,
the instrument cluster will display “ISLC fault”. If
it is necessary to cancel the ISLC, turn it off
through MP5.
