Parking cannot be resumed under the following
conditions:
● The associated system is faulty;
● The gradient exceeds the specified limit;
● The vehicle speed exceeds the specified
limit;
● The number of times of parking exceeds the
specified limit;
● The parking duration exceeds the specified
limit;
● The “Exit” soft button of MP5 is clicked;
● The steering wheel is turned;
● The EPB switch is pulled up;
● The number of pauses exceeds 3;
● The pause duration exceeds the specified
limit;
● The planned trajectory is out of range;
● The remote start/shutdown button on
the key is pressed;
FAPA fault reminder
If the FAPA is faulty, the following conditions
may occur:
● The touch screen of the MP5 system shows
“FAPA is faulty. Please take over the
vehicle”. In this case, take over the vehicle
and go to the authorized dealer for inspection
in time.
● During vehicle wash, do not spray the
ultrasonic sensor directly with a water gun
at close range to avoid damaging the
ultrasonic sensor;
● Please check the tire pressure regularly to
ensure that it meets the requirements. ●
Do not use the tire chain or spare
wheel if it is installed.
● Do not cover the ultrasonic sensors. If the
signal from any of the sensors is
abnormal, the FAPA will be affected.
● The system may be disturbed by weather
such as rain, snow, hail, etc. Especially
during driving on wet roads, the ultrasonic
sensors may identify water vapor masses
as vehicles, thus affecting the automatic
parking function.
● In areas with external noise or other radar
sources, strong radar transmission or
strong electromagnetic field, the radar
performance may be degraded or even
fail.
● During parking into a parking space, the
vehicle may occupy the lane of oncoming
vehicles. Please pay attention to the
passing vehicles around.
● Since the system has a blind spot where
people and objects cannot be detected
and thus there is a risk of collision, the
driver shall always observe the
surrounding environment and take human
intervention if necessary.
● For completely open areas without
obstacles or parking space lines, the
FAPA cannot find parking spaces.
● When using the system, make sure that
the rearview mirrors are unfolded.
● For parallel park-in, to ensure the safety
of the vehicle and avoid rubbing low
obstacles such as curbs, the final position
of the vehicle may be directed slightly
outwards after park-in.
