Manual folding of exterior rearview mirrors*
Folding
Hold the exterior rearview mirror with both
hands, and push it inward gently to fold it.
Unfolding
Hold the exterior rearview mirror with both
hands, and push it outward gently to unfold it.
Before driving, please be sure to unfold the
exterior rearview mirrors, and observe or adjust
their angles for optimum vision.
Electrical folding of exterior rearview
mirrors*
When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in
the “ACC” or “ON” position, the electric folding
switch located on the driver's door armrest can
be used to fold/unfold the exterior rearview
mirrors.
Folding
When the adjusting knob is turned to the
position, the exterior rearview mirrors will be
folded automatically. This operation will be
ineffective if the exterior rearview mirrors are
already folded.
Unfolding
When the adjusting knob is turned out of the
position, the exterior rearview mirrors will
be unfolded automatically. This operation will be
ineffective if the exterior rearview mirrors are
already unfolded.
It is not recommended to fold the mirrors
manually except in an exceptional case.
With all doors closed well, the ENGINE
START/STOP button in “OFF” position and the
adjusting knob out of the position, if you
carry the smart key and use the request switch
on the door or use the remote control feature of
the key to lock (unlock) the door, the electric
exterior rearview mirrors will be folded (unfolded)
automatically.
WARNING
● Never drive the vehicle when the exterior
rearview mirrors are folded, or an
accident may occur because of inability to
observe the rear of the vehicle.
● If the frame of the exterior rearview mirror
is displaced due to external forces, do not
manually adjust it, but electrically fold the
exterior rearview mirrors, otherwise it will
affect the adjustment function of the
exterior rearview mirrors.
