Preparation before driving

Automatic closing*
When the ENGINE START/STOP button is
turned off for 6 hours and the vehicle power
supply is in the “OFF” position, with the vehicle
locked and the Autoclose @ rain turned on, if the
rain/light sensor on the front windshield detects
continuous rain, the system will automatically
close the sunroof.
The function of automatic closing of power
sunroof will not work under the following
conditions:
The power sunroof closing process is
hindered.
The rain/light sensor does not detect rain
drops in the windshield area (such as when
the vehicle is parked under a bridge or in a
garage).
Setting of Autoclose @ rain
Enter CarCenter Body setting Window
and roof Autoclose @ rain on the MP5
display, and use the slider on the right side to
turn on or off the Autoclose @ rain.
CAUTION
The sunroof rails and grooves may be
cleaned regularly with a rag to prevent debris
from blocking the sunroof drain holes so as to
avoid water entering the vehicle. It is
recommended that the sunroof rails and
grooves be cleaned and lubricated regularly
at an authorized dealer.
WARNING
The automatic anti-pinch function might not
work due to possible failure to detect
obstacles when the sunroof is about to close
fully. Before closing the sunroof, please
check that all occupants do not extend any
body part out of the vehicle.
Initialization of Panorama Sunroof System
In case the sunroof does not work normally due
to battery cable disconnected or faults detected,
conduct the sunroof initialization following the
steps below with the button pressed and held for
about 40 s:
1. Switch the ENGINE START/STOP button to
“ON” position, toggle the switch forward to the
3rd or 4th position and hold it;
2. At this time, the sunroof glass moves forward
and identifies the front mechanical limit point;
3. After the sunshade moves forward and
identifies the front mechanical limit point, the
sunshade automatically opens backward to the
1/3 position and stops;
4. The sunroof glass opens backward to the
semi-open position and then slides forward to
the completely closed position;
5. The sunshade automatically and completely
closes;
6. Release the switch.
After the above steps, the sunroof initialization is
completed, and the function can be verified by
operating the sunroof switch. If the sunroof and
sunshade still work improperly, please contact
the authorized dealer for inspection and repair.
