Parking on a ramp without curb
Turn the front wheels toward the roadside to
prevent the vehicle from moving to the center of
the road.
● Do not park near flammable and
explosive materials to avoid fire.
● During parking, be sure to apply the
parking brake and check that the EPB
indicator lamp on the instrument
cluster comes on. Move the shift lever to
the “P” position.
● Do not run the engine but carry the key
with you when leaving the vehicle.
Otherwise, people left in the vehicle may
start the engine or electrical equipment
accidentally, causing serious accidents.
● Never leave children or adults to be
attended alone in the vehicle. Otherwise,
suffocation or unintentional movement of
the vehicle may occur, causing serious
accidents.
● Never start the engine, turn on the A/C or
heater, or stay in the vehicle for a long
time when it is parked. Otherwise, you
may be poisoned by exhaust gas, causing
death.
● Do not store flammable and explosive
materials such as gas lighters, matches
and instrument panel wax spray tanks in
the vehicle. They may explode and cause
a fire when exposed to sunlight.
● Do not store canned or bottled
carbonated beverages, beer, white wine,
etc. in the vehicle, especially in hot
summer, to avoid explosion due to heat.
● Do not place mineral water bottles or
glasses with water on the instrument
panel, to avoid local fires caused by
exposure to sunlight.
● Do not park the vehicle on flammable
materials such as dead leaves or dry
grass. Otherwise, the hot engine or
exhaust pipe may ignite such flammable
materials, causing a fire.
