TRANSFER CONVEYOR ALIGNMENT: The
“Transfer Conveyor Alignment” parameter controls
the height of the Transfer Conveyor and is used to
fine-tune the transfer of product from the Slicing
Conveyor to the Transfer Conveyor. The “Transfer
Conveyor Alignment” parameter can be set from
-50.8 mm (-2.0 inches) to +50.8 mm (+2.0 inches).
Set the height of the Transfer Conveyor for a
smooth transfer of product from the Slicing
Conveyor.
TRANSFER CONVEYOR SPEED OFFSET: In
normal operation, the Transfer Conveyor travels at
the same speed as the Slicing Conveyor when
transferring product off of the Slicing Conveyor. In
some applications it may be necessary to speed up
the Transfer Conveyor. The “Transfer Conveyor
Speed Offset” Parameter allows you to run the
Transfer Conveyor faster than the Slicing Conveyor.
(Illustration 62) This adjustment is set as a
percentage of Slicing Conveyor speed.
A setting of 0% runs the Transfer Conveyor at the
same speed as the Slicing Conveyor.
A setting of 10% runs the Transfer Conveyor 10%
faster than the Slicing Conveyor.
TRANSFER CONVEYOR DELAY TO RAPID: This
parameter allows you to delay the rapid acceleration
of the product as the Transfer Conveyor sends the
product to the Dynamic Scale Conveyors.
(Illustration 63) This adjustment is set in
milliseconds. The higher the setting, the longer the
delay. (Used in “Shaved” and “Folded Slice”
applications.
