SYSTEM OVERVIEW - GS1 - 24 VDC POWER
SUPPLY (COMPUTER/DISPLAY/CONTROL
VOLTAGES)
The GS1 Power Supply sends 24 VDC to the
Computer, the Touchscreen, the AR8 Modbus
Converter, the AR1 Safety Computer, the AR15
Driver I/O Node, the Servo Drives and the
Linear/Rotary Actuator Motors. The GS1 Power
Supply is adjustable and should be set to 24 +/- 1
VDC at terminals “83” and “2” in the Scale Cabinet.

1. The QM4 Circuit Protector supplies 3-phase
AC Supply Voltage to the GS1 Power Supply.
2. The GS1 Power Supply rectifies the 3 phase
AC to 24 VDC and sends 24 VDC on wires “1”
and the common wire “2” to the QF3, QF4,
QF5 and the QF6 Circuit Breakers.

3. The 24 VDC travels through the QF5 circuit
breaker and travels on wire “3” and the
common wire “5” to the Computer chassis, the
“wireless” Ethernet Module in the
Touchscreen, the AR1 Safety CPU Module,
the A3 wireless access point, the U1 Motion
Controller, the A10 VPN Router, and the A9
and A11 Ethernet switches.
