GRIP ADVANCE OFFSET (#1, #2 AND #3): The “Grip
Advance Offset” adjustment aligns the start of the
loaves with the edge of the Shear Bar after the loaves
are “gripped” and lowered towards the Blade.
(Illustration 88 and 89) The “Grip Advance Offset”
adjustment can be set from - 50.80mm (-2.0 inches) to
+50.80mm (+2.0 inches).
To set this adjustment:
1. Load product into the Slicer, but do not start the
Product Feed.
2. Allow the Grippers to grip the product and move
the loaves into the Infeed Conveyors and Shear
Bar.
3. Look through the window in the left Side Guard
and estimate the distance between the end of
the product and the edge of the Shear Bar.
(Illustration 89)
4. Enter this distance in the “Grip Advance Offset”
adjustment.
IMPORTANT!
Any gap or overhang between the end of the
product and the Shear Bar will make the “Start Butt
Length” setting ineffective.
