If
you
execute
the
addboard
command
without
specifying
the
-m
option
or
with
bind=resource
specified
for
the
-m
option,
the
resource
assignment
state
before
deleteboard
command
execution
may
not
be
restored.
If
the
amount
of
system
board
(PSB)
resources,
such
as
CPUs
and
memory,
before
replacement
differs
from
that
after
replacement,
you
cannot
restore
the
original
resource
assignment
state
to
the
original
state.
If
the
resource
assignment
state
is
not
restored
to
the
original
state,
the
resources
are
placed
in
the
free
resource
state.
In
this
case,
execute
the
ldm(1M)
command
to
assign
the
resources
to
the
logical
domain
again.
6.5 Incorporating
a
Chassis
and
I/O
Device
into
a
Physical
Partition
This
section
describes
the
procedure
for
incorporating
a
chassis
into
a
physical
partition
by
using
dynamic
reconfiguration
(DR)
for
the
physical
partition
after
chassis
maintenance.
The
procedure
described
here
is
applicable
only
to
a
system
with
a
building
block
configuration.
6.5.1 Incorporating
a
chassis
into
a
physical
partition
1.
Log
in
to
the
XSCF
shell.
2.
Execute
the
addboard
command
with
the
-c
configure
option
specified
to
incorporate
the
target
chassis
into
the
physical
partition.
Enter
"y"
in
response
to
the
confirmation
message.
In
the
following
example,
PSB
00-0
is
incorporated
into
PPAR-ID
0.
3.
Execute
the
showresult
command
to
check
the
end
status
of
the
addboard
