released
from

root
domain
and
then
reassigned.
If
you
are
using
XCP
2230
or
later
and
Oracle
VM
Server
for
SPARC
3.1.1.1
or
later,
you
do
not
have
to
stop
the
I/O
domain
or
root
domain.
Perform
the
following
procedure:
1.
If
the
hotplug
service
is
disabled
on
the
I/O
domain
and
root
domain,
enable
it.
2.
Delete
the
physical
I/O
device
from
the
I/O
domain.
3.
Assign
the
PCIe
slot
to
the
I/O
domain.
4.
Disable
the
hotplug
service
on
the
I/O
domain
and
root
domain
if
necessary.
If
you
are
using
XCP
2221
or
earlier
or
Oracle
VM
Server
for
SPARC
3.1.1
or
earlier,
perform
the
following
procedure:
1.
Transition
the
root
domain
to
delayed
reconfiguration
mode.
2.
Release
the
physical
I/O
device
(slot)
from
the
root
domain.
