If applicable, disconnect internal cables from the expansion card.

If applicable, remove the SFP+ transceiver modules, see "Removing SFP+
transceiver modules" on page
226.

Remove the screw (see circle).
▶
Carefully remove the expansion card from its slot.
Installing the slot cover
CAUTION
▶
If the expansion card is removed and not replaced with a new one,
the slot cover must be reinstalled due to cooling, to comply with
applicable EMC regulations and to protect against fire.
