Other settings
The SysLog Address is the IP address of the network syslog server. If this is not 0.0.0.0, all
messages logged in the printer's syslog buffer are also sent to the network syslog server at the
entered IP address. If the syslog server has a hard drive, the message capacity is limited to the
available hard drive space.
The MAC (media access control) Address uniquely identifies the printer and is not editable.
CAUTION: Use care when entering addresses for the Gerber Solara ion. Entering
incorrect addresses could damage the network.
CAUTION: The device ID number (last octet or last two octets depending on the
network) of the Gerber Solara ion IP Address should not be the same address as any
other computer or system on the network or it will cause problems for the network.
