Time/Date
Displays the time/date when the system log was generated.
Source
Displays the module that generated the system log.
Level
Displays the severity level of the system log. The information is classified into eight
levels by severity:
• Emergency—The system is unusable.
• Alert—Action must be taken immediately.
• Critical—Critical condition.
• Error—Error condition.
• Warning—Warning condition.
• Notification—Normal but significant condition.
• Information—Informational message.
• Debug—Debug-level message.
Digest Displays the brief description of the system log.
Description
Displays the content of the system log.
Setting the log host
1. Select Device > Syslog from the navigation tree.
2. Click the Loghost tab.
The log host configuration page appears.
