5.1.3 Intended use
The training cell is intended exclusively for the use designated in the “Pur-
pose” chapter of the operating instructions.
Using it for any other or additional purpose is considered misuse and is
not allowed. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any resulting dam-
age. The risk lies entirely with the user.
Operation in accordance with the intended use also requires compliance
with the assembly and operating instructions for the individual compo-
nents, with particular reference to the maintenance specifications.
Misuse
Any use or application deviating from the intended use is deemed to be
misuse and is not allowed. This includes e.g.:
Using the cell or its components in an industrial system.
Use for experimental purposes.
Alteration of the components (e.g. modification of the gripper).
Use of a tool or a training application without taking the associated
risks into account.
Exceeding the operating times.
Use outside the permissible operating parameters
Operation in potentially explosive environments
Outdoor operation
5.1.4 Personnel
All persons working with the training cell must have read and under-
stood the documentation of the training cell, industrial robot and robot
controller, including the safety chapters.
All personnel who work on the training cell must receive safety instruc-
tion and confirm this.
Work on the robot system may only be carried out under the instruc-
tion of a qualified/certified instructor.

Trainer
The trainer must observe the labor laws and regulations. These include,
e.g.:
The trainer is certified.
The trainer must comply with his monitoring obligations.
The trainer must instruct the training participants and notify them of re-
sidual risks.
The trainer must explain the operator control elements of the training
cell to the training participants.
Training participant
The training participant must meet the following requirements:
The training participant must receive safety instruction and confirm
this.
