6 Planning
6.1 Installation conditions
Cell
The ready2_educate cell must only be installed on a solid, stable, dry and
level surface. The cell must not be installed or operated outdoors. The in-
stallation site must also be sufficiently lit.
Cables and hoses
The connecting cables and hoses must be routed in such a way (e.g. ca-
ble ducts) as to prevent the risk of tripping. Where there is an
unavoidable risk of tripping, this must be marked accordingly.
6.2 Energy supply interface
Description
The cell is equipped with the energy supply interface in order to supply
the cell with compressed air and electric power. A standard connection ca-
ble with a C19 connector is used for connection to the power supply. For
the compressed air supply (main air), the quick coupling plug (KS4-1/4-A)
is connected to its counterpart on the respective building connection.
For use in North America, a prefabricated cable (3m) with a North Ameri-
ca-compliant connector is supplied.
In order to assure the energy supply, depending on the country-specific
variants, it may be necessary for the customer to connect a transformer
in between.
