Annually
Check that the hinges of the doors move freely. If
necessary, spray them with a suitable, water-free lu-
bricant.
Check the components and surfaces for external
damage.
Check the steel components for traces of corrosion. If
necessary, repair damage.
We recommend having annual maintenance performed by KUKA Serv-
ice.
For purposes of maintenance on the robot controller, the detachable
doors can be removed.
13.2 Drainage of condensate on the compressed air service unit
Precondition
Compressed air is connected.
Main switch in the “0” position.
Procedure
Open the condensate drainage screw and collect the condensate in a
container placed underneath.

In the event of above-average condensate build-up, check the plant
compressed air system and, if necessary, prevent the build-up of con-
densate by taking appropriate measures.
13.3 Cleaning ready2_educate
Preconditions
The cell is switched off and secured to prevent unauthorized persons
from switching it on again.
Observe the ESD guidelines.
