In order to be able to install ready2_educate_advanced, ready2_edu-
cate must already be installed.
9.3.2 Installing or updating ready2_educate_vision
Description
ready2_educate_vision is installed in WorkVisual and added to the project.
During project deployment, the option package is automatically installed
on the robot controller.
In the case of an update, the previous version of the option package in
WorkVisual must first be uninstalled.
As standard, the software is already installed.
It is advisable to archive all relevant data before updating a software
package.
Precondition
• User group “Expert”
• T1 or T2 mode
• No program is selected.
• Network connection between PC and robot controller
• The KOP file of the software to be installed
• ready2_educate and/or ready2_educate_advanced is installed
• Gripper is configured
Procedure
1. Only for an update: Uninstall the previous version of the ready2_edu-
cate_vision option package in WorkVisual.
2. Install the ready2_educate_vision option package in WorkVisual.
3. Load the project from the robot controller.
4. Insert the ready2_educate_vision option package into the project.
5. The gripper must now be configured. This is carried out in the Grip-
perSpotTech editor.
a. Open the GripperSpotTech editor via Editors > Options packages
> Gripper-/SpotTech. A window opens.
b. Click on the Data and Icons tab. The configuration can be loaded
here.
c. The configuration file GripperEjektorConfig.xml for the gripper al-
location is located in the DOC directory of the KOP file.
The gripper and ejector are now configured.
