22.4 Fume Extractor
The fume extraction system connects to a port on the rear RH side of the machine guarding via
flexible ducting the fume extraction is attached to the coolant system on a purpose built fabrication.
During machine operation coolant vapours extracted from the machine is returned back to the
coolant system as the filters become clogged.
Power to the fume extraction is connected via a junction box located at the base machine and the
extractor unit operates automatically when the machine is started.
