7.2.2 Opening and closing the chuck manually
The pneumatic 3-jaw power chuck can be manually operated by using the two foot pedals when the
machine is set in JOG mode.
Note: The foot pedals are disabled when the machine is operated in AUTO cycle.
Chuck open procedure
1. Select [JOG] mode at the machine control panel.
2. Push down on the left-hand (LH) foot pedal [1]
Chuck close procedure
1. Select [JOG] mode at the machine control panel.
2. Push down on the right-hand (RH) foot pedal [2]
