17.6 Axis Reference
The machine is fitted with absolute axis position encoders throughout as standard, so it is not
necessary to reference the machine when it has been powered on because the control system knows
the position of all configured axes at all times.
The axis reference function can only be select when JOG mode is active.
Manual axis referencing is not necessary. Therefore, this function should not be
used establish machine axis datums.
