12.5.2 EMC Filter
NOTE
Select a cable as short as possible to connect the lter and the controller. The cable length must be less
than 30 cm. Make sure to connect the lter and the controller to the same grounding reference surface to
implement reliable grounding of the lter. Otherwise, the desired ltering effect will not be achieved.
1. Standard EMC Filter
This type of lters satisfy the EN 61800-3 category C2 and EN12015 requirement of CE certication.
Connect the lter to ground reliably and ensure that the length of the cable connecting the controller
and the lter is less than 30 cm. For detailed specication on cables, see Table 4-2.
Schaffner and Jianli lters are recommended, as listed in the following table.
